How should I frame the source car photo?

Choose a source crop that preserves the car before worrying about matching the final vertical canvas. A wide three-quarter photo can be useful if it shows the bumper, roof and wheels clearly. Forcing that photo into a narrow portrait crop may remove the very features needed to recognize the car. The reference sequence determines the portrait composition of the output.

When reviewing the finished clip, check the top and bottom edges as well as the car. The ramp exit needs space above the vehicle, and the landing needs space below it.
